Still have some questions?

+ Nervous you won’t be able to do 21 days of yoga?

I, and a big beautiful group of fellow Abbey members will be cheering you on and offering you tips on how you can modify any parts of the yoga videos that feel hard or inaccessible. PLUS, you have the choice every day to honor your body by choosing to practice with just the Lectio Divina or Meditation recording, or savor the Devotional content for that month.

We’re here to keep you accountable to making space for the peace and presence of God, however that looks for you today.

+ Self-conscious of how you look on camera or learning a new app?

Friend, let me reassure you, you never have to show your face on camera if you don’t want to – a video of your yoga mat with your beautiful voice introducing yourself and sharing about your practice is more than enough. The Marco Polo app is simple and intuitive. After downloading it and creating a (free) account, you’ll be prompted through a few short welcome videos to help you learn how to use the app.

I chose this app because it’s free, fun, private, and ad-free. You can bet I’ll show up most days with no makeup, messy hair, and a snoring dog in the background 😉

+ Curious about who will be in your small group and whether you’ll get along?

We get it! Being in a group with people you don’t know can be intimidating and awkward. We’re hoping to make it a little less awkward by bringing together people with a common interest, life season, or location. Besides having a love for Jesus and yoga in common, you’ll also be surrounded by other adoptive parents or people just interested in meditation or other 20 and 30 somethings.

But here’s the thing, friend. The hallmark of authentic community – the kind of community we see in the Bible that we’ll be studying this month – is a willingness to be vulnerable and sacrificial. We lay down our need to appear to have it all together or have all the answers. We show up as we are and offer what we have and trust that with Christ, it is enough. We allow ourselves to be seen by others and we choose to see others as they are – beloved daughters and sons of God.

When we enter into community with that heart posture, we tap into the sacredness of it immediately.

+ Do I have to participate at a certain time?

Nope! The daily challenge content will all come from resources already within The Abbey. And all the video messages in Marco Polo are saved within the app so you can watch and engage with them when you have some spare moments.

We’ll provide you with a challenge calendar to keep you on track!
