As you know, each month this year we’re studying a different sacred space, and our theme for the month of June is Community as a Sacred Space. We wrestled with whether it was even appropriate to keep this as June’s theme given the current pandemic and our general inability to participate in community in the ways we did before, but Jesus’ promise that “where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them,” does not stop being true in the era of social distancing.
So, we decided to get creative and cultivate community in The Abbey in a new way!
Throughout this 21-day challenge you’re not just encouraged to practice at home each day, but to participate in a small group on the private video chat app Marco Polo!
