Retreat with Leaders of The Abbey
Rest is our inheritance. Getting away from the crowds and the noise to be replenished by time away with God is modeled for us in the story of Genesis and the life of Jesus. The busier our lives get, the more important it is we carve out time to step out of the hustle and go on retreat.
Participating in a retreat doesn’t have to look like flying across the world for an entire week (although, that’s fun too) but can take place over a weekend in a neighboring state, or even in your own home. Some retreats are yoga-centered, others make extended space for silence and quiet contemplation, while others offer more teaching and knowledge-sharing.

The Full Marriage Retreat
October 10-14, 2020
Cabarete, Dominican Republic
Join Emanuel and Pricelis Dominguez for a marriage retreat in a beautiful place!
“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT)
Something that is full has no empty or voided parts. It’s something that is whole and has no room for anything else. We want to explore together how it looks to have a full marriage where we are not just back to back with one another conquering goals and defeating the enemy but inviting Jesus into that triple-braided cord so it can not easily be broken and nothing else can get in the way of where God is leading you both.
