Technical Project Manager
If you love the thrill of co-creating beautiful, accessible, and affirming digital spaces while not actually getting lost in the backend code, you might just be the person we’re looking for. The Abbey is a growing online yoga membership community and yoga school helping people connect with God through movement, meditation, and prayer resources. We’ve outgrown our boot-strapped DIY website and are looking to uplevel our entire online experience from our website, to our membership platform, to our CMS. We need a standout project manager with the technical skills to manage a team of developers, designers, and platform integrators to see this project through to completion and ensure that the finished product best reflects our brand and serves our diverse community.
This is a remote, part-time, short-term position that reports directly to and works closely with our Founder. Depending on workload and project success, there is the potential for long-term employment within the Company. Hours are self-set but you will need to be available during Pacific Time business hours.
We don’t need you to be a web designer, developer, or online marketing expert yourself. But you do need to have a good understanding of how online marketing works, including sales pages, email marketing processes and funnels, lead magnets, opt-in pages, member journey and gamification, etc. (If any of those phrases are brand new to you, this is likely not the perfect position for you.) Your job is to ensure that our brand stays consistent and reliable, from start to finish, with each part of this project.
We’ll be straight with you: This position has high expectations.
But if you’re the person we’re looking for, you’re the type who gets motivated by high expectations.
