Week Three:
Embodied Sequencing, Pranayama 101, and an Introduction to Chakras
There are many ways to build a sense of “flow” into a yoga class and this week we’ll explore even more of them. We’ll discuss the anatomy and practice of pranayama, or breathwork, learning how we can use our breath to connect with our bodies and this practice.
This week we’ll also bring in an amazing Christian yoga teacher to introduce us to the theory of chakras (energy in the human body) and explore how they can inform our understanding of the human experience and a yoga class.
