Week Two:

Embodied Sequencing, Principles of Flow, Sanskrit 101, and chakra theory

We’ll spend the first eight weeks of this training studying the Tabernacle to understand how God’s presence dwells with us as we move through a yoga class. This week we’ll dive deep into one of the most iconic (and challenging) series of yoga poses – Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation – and explore alignment principles, variations, and modifications.

We’ll also continue our exploration of anatomy and physiology, learning the how and why of these miraculous bodies that bear the image of God.
